Manzanita Immigrant Legal Aid works with and for the immigrant community in Spokane to build stability and strength by providing low-cost, accessible legal services. We believe that legal aid, education, and community empowerment make Spokane a better place for all--a place where everyone has a chance to be welcomed and celebrated.

Affordable Legal Services
We provide affordable legal services to those in our community, without regard for race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or country of origin.
With a focus on family-based and humanitarian immigration, MILA provides legal aid for:
Adjustment of status
Consular processing
Employment authorization
Family petitions
Temporary Protected Status
T and U visas
Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions
Limited removal defense
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
Community Education and Empowerment
Our goal is to empower our community to know their rights and understand important changes to immigration policy. Accurate and timely information enables our immigrant community to more fully engage in life. We work to be responsive to the needs of the community and communicate important information broadly and freely through partnerships with other community organizations.
